While Rihanna is best known for her music (drop the new album, RiRi!) she’s also made a huge name for herself in the beauty world with her much-loved cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.

In a new Instagram video promoting the recently launched Fenty Beauty Resting Peach Face Duo, Rihanna shows off her makeup routine that I, for one, will be recreating ASAP.

“get into this 🍑!!!” the “Anti” singer captioned the clip, which has garnered a lot of attention from her social media followers. And, while many people adore the beauty tutorial, those of us who spend most of our free time scrolling social media for interior design inspiration (me) will have noticed the bathroom walls that feature an eye-catching element that takes the room to the next level.

The all-marble walls are the height of glamour and are everything I would expect from Ms. Fenty. However, the black stripes add a unique touch to the space and certainly add an edge to the bathroom.

Adding depth to the room, four stripes can be seen on each wall, seamlessly ending and starting again at the door. The hint of black gives a moody vibe to the space—something that Rihanna seems to be a fan of, based on her deep purple velvet curtains and her former West Hollywood mansion. The singer’s “Wild Thoughts” music video even inspired this dark and sumptuous apartment.

The horizontal lines make the room appear wider, something that’s a great trick if you’re working with a smaller space.

If you’re work, work, work, work, work, work-ing on sprucing up your space this season and want to take some inspiration from RiRi’s bathroom, look no further.

You can achieve an eye-catching striped look in your bathroom, bedroom, living room, or anywhere else you fancy, with the help of—you guessed it—peel and stick decals.

To achieve a similar look on just one feature wall, opt for a wall mural, like the Society6 Horizontal Lines (Black & White Pattern) Wall Mural (pictured above). Or if you’re looking to go all out, black wallpaper border is a great option to mimic Rihanna’s striped walls—this will take a little more skill and time as you’ll need to line up (no pun intended) and measure out your stripes.
