She Buys This $3 Ross Ring Holder By the Dozen
In a kitchen as small as the one in content creator Sophie Simmons’ 331-square-foot Manhattan apartment, it’s understood that every item has to serve a purpose. But that doesn’t mean practical pieces can’t match her glam, Paris-inspired style. A $2.99 faux crystal ring holder from Ross Dress for Less adds that touch of shine and serves a purpose, and Sophie loves them so much she buys multiple at a time.
A Small Ring Holder Adds That Glam Touch
A glam-centric material that Sophie loves is crystal, but she also likes a deal (her apartment is full of thrifted or inexpensive finds that look pricey). “Ross Dress for Less isn’t sponsoring me, but, honey, I could talk about Ross Dress for Less all day long,” Sophie said at the time of the House Tour.
Sophie found a faux crystal ring holder for $2.99 at Ross Dress for Less and snagged one for her kitchen, since it’s a great place to pop rings while cooking or cleaning. Plus, it also adds a sparkle to the countertop that complements the brass salt and pepper shakers. However, she didn’t just buy this for herself.
“They have these little ring holders at Ross for $2.99, especially at Christmas you’ll find them,” Sophie explains. “Buy them by the dozen; they’re adorable little gifts with a bow on top, everybody loves them, I think they’re so classy and chic.”
Unfortunately, you can’t shop the Ross Dress for Less option online, but if you don’t have one in your area, don’t fret. There’s a similar ring holder from Walmart that’s available for less than $10. It doesn’t take up much space, measuring 3.14 x 3.14 x 2.3 inches, but it can hold more than one ring. Plus, it’s lightweight, so it can be easily moved around from room to room.
Because Sophie’s kitchen sink is the only sink in the apartment, having a dedicated spot for her rings nearby can also help keep jewelry safely away from the drain. (A landlord’s nightmare!)
Because of the apartment’s small square footage — especially since it went from a home for one person to two — Sophie admits that “everything has to have a place and everything has to be well thought out.” It might seem small, but having a designated, cute spot to pop your rings off in a rush makes a world of difference. No wonder she’s gifting these to everyone she knows!
