Whether you’re a self-proclaimed shoe hoarder or proudly only own a handful of pairs, one thing is for sure—finding the right storage solution for your precious footwear can be tricky. Growing up, I swore by a plastic over-the-door hanger that truly ended up holding everything from flip flops to Beanie Babies, and now, I keep most of my shoes on built-in shelves in my closet. No built-ins? No problem! These organization systems are a step in the right direction and are also small space-friendly.

Get the boutique look at home with these clear shoe storage bins. (I mean, those pretty heels weren’t cheap—don’t they deserve to be admired?). Because these containers stack, it’s easy to take advantage of unused vertical space.

I use a SCOUT storage bin to hold thin pairs of shoes like sandals and flip flops during the off season. It’s a major space-saver, the bin is compact enough to fit right on my closet shelf, and the colorful patterns are irresistible!

I’ve never personally owned a shoe storage cabinet, but this mid-century-style option has certainly caught my eye and would double as a petite entry table. This little guy holds 10 whole pairs!

Baby shoes and booties can easily fit inside this portable caddy. At under $15, it’s a great gift idea, too.

If you’re like me and can’t stand when tall boots fall down or slouch over, you need this four-pair boot rack in your life. It’s so nice-looking that it could even go out on display in the hallway.

I am a firm believer in the power of under bed storage—I use fabric bins to hold everything from sweaters to extra artwork and picture frames. I’m tempted to order a few sets of these for myself to store off-season footwear in order to maximize my precious shelf space.
