Location: Naples, Florida

Our beach cottage in Naples, Florida was a dated 1960s, 2600 square foot home that was dying for an extreme makeover. In just under three months we gutted the kitchen, master bathroom, guest bathroom, guest bedroom and home exterior.

The before and after photos are pretty incredible, especially the kitchen and master bathroom. This is our vacation “getaway” home so we kept that in mind with budget and design choices. The project was started in October and completed this past December.

This master bathroom was dated back to the early 90s era with worn out cabinetry, outdated brass fixtures, and your grandmother’s wallpaper including a banner boarder wallpaper. The toilet was oddly located just outside of the shower door, so we relocated it which actually opened up the bathroom to a feeling of twice the size. The original L-shape vanity didn’t make much sense for our purposes so we rerouted plumbing to allow a double vanity on one wall and removed a small linen closet that wasn’t needed. The once moldy and dark bathroom is now bright and airy with a budget friendly, modern design!
