Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I bought my studio during the summer earlier this year and designed it myself, since I am an interior designer.

My approach to design is rather unique. I design bespoke elements that fit the space perfectly and involve the work of some amazing craftsmen. I curate collections of objet d’art and interesting furniture pieces.

I wanted to make my home cool but cozy and warm, hence, I mixed objects that have sentimental value with designer pieces and pleasant colors and finishes. Every corner has a statement piece and a feeling of warmth.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Bespoke, international, culturally curated, cozy, and functional

What is your favorite room and why? It’s one room divided into sections but my favorite of all is my bed, which is cocooned in the corner by a huge linen headboard and a dividing shelving unit. The bedside light projects into the natural linen on the headboard and creates a very cozy feel. I invested in a very comfortable mattress and pure down and feather duvet and pillows. It feels like heaven sleeping there.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? Replica of Cesca desk chair by Thonet.

Any advice for creating a home you love? I find that it’s very important to understand what the owner of any home loves and values most, however I believe that everyone appreciates natural and textured materials that create a very coy and warm feeling. I believe that home needs to feel homey and welcoming but at the same time have some statement pieces that express style and culture.
