Whether you regard it as a classic or a trend that doesn’t seem to ever completely fizzle out, there’s an undoubtedly soft and elegant appearance to rose gold. It’s been immensely popular in recent years, and if you’re still holding tight to your love of the blended hue, then prepare to be totally smitten with SMEG’s latest limited-edition collection.

Available in (you guessed it) rose gold, the shiny offering marks the luxe appliance brand’s first foray into using a metallic colorway for its retro-inspired kitchenware duo.

The 2-Slice Toaster ($199.95) comes with two extra wide slots, a removable stainless steel crumb tray, plus a self-centering rack and six browning levels that ensure toast is evenly browned. Among the chrome accents are the four knobs which control the Reheat, Defrost, Cancel and Bagel functions.

The Electric Kettle ($199.95) features a 360-degree swivel base. The auto-shutoff feature kicks in when the water reaches a boil and the kettle is lifted from the base. Steam release is tempered by the soft-opening lid. Water level indicators in the cups and liters are designed for easy reading. The kettle also comes with a removable, washable stainless steel limescale filter.

This rose gold revamping is one of many eye-catching SMEG appliance makeovers. Back in 2017, the brand teamed up with Dolce & Gabbana to give its small appliances a Sicilian-inspired look for the spring season, prompting us to accurately declare their toaster “a work of art.” The new Rose Gold selections are available in limited quantities and sold exclusively at Williams-Sonoma. If you’re going for a sleek, upscale kitchen makeover, these appliances belong at the top of your must-have list.
