Cozy living room with a curved brown sofa, marble coffee table, desk with a computer, and large windows.

With the relatively recent rise in awareness surrounding “fast furniture,” and (consequently, in my opinion) the rise in popularity of vintage and antique home decor, the demand for solid wood furniture has never been higher. Shoppers are more aware than ever that solid wood pieces make a wiser long-term investment, but whether you’re shopping vintage or new, those pieces can get really pricey, really fast.

I’ve come across quite a few solid wood steals in the last few months. Perhaps in an attempt to entice customers back from the thrift stores, I’ve noticed more and more retailers making an effort to offer quality wooden pieces at lower prices. But they can definitely be tricky to find.

So I rounded up a few of my own favorite finds below to simplify your shopping experience. Basically, I scrolled and searched so you don’t have to! Check out my picks below for a definitive list of the best solid wood furniture and decor you can buy online right now — and the best part? Every single one is under $200!

The Best Under-$200 Solid Wood Furniture on the Market Right Now

Aspen Solid Wood Open Side Table
$180

Marshalls is a great place to score some solid wood pieces — particularly tables. This stunning side table is crafted from solid Aspen wood, and features a stylish waterfall edge along with two shelves and a drawer. This piece would make a perfect nightstand or living room end table!

Karat Home Solid Wood Savannah Nightstand
$150

I love Marshalls, but I’m a Maxxinista at heart. This nightstand, while a little more traditional in style, features even more storage — plus a built-in charging station. No more messy cords to distract from that gorgeous wood grain!

$150 at TJ Maxx
AllModern Jahmal Solid Wood Side Chair
$228$189

This stunning mid-century modern dining chair is made of rubberwood, which can be more lightweight than other hard woods (although it looks gorgeous, and expensive, in this classic walnut finish). At just $189, it’s a steal for a piece that looks straight out of a designer’s home.

$189 at Wayfair
IKEA HAVSTA 6-Drawer Dresser
$340

Okay, breaking the rules a bit with this 6-drawer dresser for $399.99 — but the 3-drawer version retails at just $299.99. And trust me, it’s worth it. Made from solid pine wood, these versatile and stylish storage pieces are built to stand the test of time (and trend cycles!).

$340 at IKEA
Crescent Solid Wood Coffee Table
$190

I’ve actually been on the hunt for a coffee table lately, and this one might just take the cake. This round, solid wood centerpiece features modern column legs and a raised edge. It’s simple enough to blend in anywhere, but stylish enough to make a statement.

$190 at Marshalls
Four Hands Zach Solid Wood End Table
$180

It’s not clear what kind of wood this adorable side table is made from, but it’s super stylish. Rounded and modern with a light-medium finish, this piece is sure to start conversations — especially once your guests find out the price!

$180 at TJ Maxx
STOCKHOLM 2025 Chair
$200

Of course, you can always count on IKEA for some solid wood stunners. Although they’re known for their flat-pack lightweight pieces, the brand has some standout wooden pieces like these STOCKHOLM dining chairs. With upholstered seats and timeless cane backs, you really can’t go wrong!
