I’m continually fascinated by the places where creative people live and work. These four spaces are not just the homes, but also the studios of four very talented contemporary artists. It’s lovely to see how the aesthetic of their work carries through their homes — and how they blend living and working into one beautiful space.

Above: A few choice photos from the tour of St. Louis artist and sculptor Mary Sprague’s live/work studio — one of my favorite Apartment Therapy tours of all time. Do check out the whole thing.

This is the home and studio of artist Lisa Burenius, in Varberg, Sweden. From Lovely Life, via My Scandinavian Home.

In her San Francisco loft, Sirima Sataman lives, makes art, and teaches printmaking classes, all in 800 square feet. Check out the full tour here.
