Peel and stick wallpaper is a simple and stylish solution for when you want to take your space to the next level, without the cost and commitment of traditional wallpapers. Tempaper, a brand that knows a thing or two about temporary wallpaper, just released a new collection with The Novogratz.

The Waverly collection features six brand new prints across eight colorways, celebrating old New York style mixed with a timeless Parisian flair.

The collection is the brand’s second range with designers Robert and Cortney Novogratz, who first collaborated with Tempaper back in 2018 with the best-selling Constellations and Scout styles. The Waverly collection, which is inspired by the pink Greenwich Village townhouse on Waverly Place that the Novogratz are currently renovating, is the perfect encapsulation of the duo’s well-known bold and eclectic style.

The colors, patterns, and textures found within the assortment were discovered during the renovation process, which is slated to be completed toward the last quarter of the year.

“[In the Greenwich Village townhouse] there were great vintage wallpapers hidden or covered up throughout the years,” the Novogratz tells Apartment Therapy. “They were sources of inspiration as was the color palette in the different room. The collection is a mix of bold and artful patterns and colors and monochrome ones.”

The duo, who describes the collection as “bold, innovative, and fun,” will be incorporating the range into their own renovation, starting with the eye-catching dusty pink “Family of Cranes” design. “We’re installing the pink birds pattern in our daughter Tallulah’s first New York City apartment.  Whenever you see a pattern being used in a project it comes to life,” they said.

Tempaper co-founder Jennifer Matthews says that her favorite style from the range is the “Feather Palm” style in cornflower blue. “It is the perfect balance between modern and retro,” she explained. “The rhythm of the repeating palm creates the perfect geometric layout from an organic element.”

When it comes to peel-and-stick wallpaper, Matthews encourages customers — especially those who are using removable wallpaper for the first time — to embrace bold colors and patterns. After all, if you’re not a fan… it’s called Tempaper for a reason. “Don’t be afraid to decorate a wall or even an unexpected area of a room,” she explains. “It can be peeled off quickly and easily. Embrace pattern and change, it’s a beautiful thing!”

The new wallpaper is available for $39.99 per roll, and each roll is 20.5 inches x 16.5 feet and will cover a total of 28 square feet. The Waverly collection is available to purchase now from Tempaper.com.
