Carla Rockmore, a former jewelry designer turned full-time TikToker, prides herself on “celebrating the self-expression of 50+ through fashion, fun, & fierceness,” as her TikTok bio reads. And though she’s loved for her quirky styling and loud-and-proud personality, Rockmore is also envied for her two-story closet that is popping at the seams — but in an organized fashion.

The two-story walk-in was already installed when Rockmore moved into her Dallas home. She told Architectural Digest that she was on the hunt for a new house in the Dallas area for a while and wasn’t seeing much beyond “ochre and taxidermy.”

“All of a sudden, I got to this listing where I saw part of the spiral staircase and racks in the photos,” she told AD. “It looked large, and there was a fireplace at the back. I thought, ‘If that’s a closet, this is my house.’” It was a closet, and it soon did become her house.

The closet was originally painted a mint green, she explained, so the first order of business was repainting the whole thing white. She also added a new railing to the spiral staircase and a fan to the upper level to keep the Texas heat out.

“PS: I used to live in an apartment about this size,” Rockmore wrote in the caption of her closet tour (part two).

Rockmore’s closet also comes complete with a working fireplace, a space for her to chill out and check emails, and floor-to-ceiling racks, cubbies, and shelving that Rockmore uses a stepladder to access.

And even though there’s so much space that most of us wouldn’t know how to fill it, Rockmore’s fashion collection has bled out to under the stairs, in front of the mantle, and onto additional racks she keeps upstairs.

Dream closet, dream wardrobe, dream life — we all just found our new favorite TikToker.
