This Tiny House Resort In Florida Is The Adorable Vacation Of Our Dreams
Looking for a small escape from winter? Luckily, there’s a charming resort in Sarasota, Florida that has a fleet of tiny houses just ready to be booked.
Tiny House Siesta near Siesta Key Beach has eleven such homes for rent in all shapes, sizes, colors, and themes. The quartz crystal beach may be located on the other side of the bridge, but a couple of the houses have lifeguard stations as porches to really bring the ocean vibe (there are currently yellow and red ones, with a green one coming soon). Some have up to three sleeping areas, including several houses with first level sleep spaces for those who can’t or would rather not climb ladders to loft areas.
The resort is the brainchild of investor Jeremy Ricci, who acquired an old RV park and has the tiny homes built from his designs by Amish carpenters in Ohio, according to Sarasota Magazine. Decorated in a range of styles from colorful to coastal to minimal, each of the spaces are utilized to make the most of their small square footage.
And as tiny houses become more popular, the vacation market for them is increasing as well; Ricci told Sarasota Magazine that some guests just want to try out a tiny house, and we have seen startups like tiny house vacation rental company Getaway built on people’s curiosity about whether living small is something for them.
