Many of the designers I’ve interviewed in my career have said that some of the most powerful, showstopping details in a home are petite in size — and that’s certainly true for tabletop details. It’s why I can’t get enough of a revived trend that focuses on tissue boxes — and while you might not consider the tissue box a decor staple, that’s about to change.
A trending post on Instagram just highlighted that you can get the most adorable tissue box covers that won’t break your budget, as Amazon has options that clock in at under $10. You’ll never look at tissues the same way again!
Amazon’s Tissue Box Covers Are Totally Whimsical
“The cutiest patootiest little tissue box covers for a little whimsy,” Instagram user McKenna Barry wrote in a recent Instagram caption, highlighting a find that looks and functions like a slipcover for any store-bought tissue box.
The striped cover McKenna shared is from an Amazon brand called FYSUIMU. It’s made from washable cotton and is sized to perfectly fit a standard cube-shaped tissue box. This particular design will set you back $19, and as soon as you dress up your first tissue box, you’re definitely going to want more.
There’s a $7 Version You’ll Want to Buy in Bulk
The brocade version that McKenna showcases is actually also a budget find — it’s currently retailing for just $7 on Amazon. Each cover is made from traditional block-printed fabric, and features a rear Velcro strap that ensures the cover won’t slip off your tissues.
