I don’t know if I’ve ever left T.J. Maxx with just one thing — I might go looking for something specific, but invariably I’ll discover something else along the way that I didn’t even know I needed. However, there’s one item I’ll never buy anywhere else: cute cat bowls.

My senior cat, Phoebe, needs to eat her dry food from elevated bowls that tilt towards her for her digestion. But those kinds of bowls often cost upward of $15 at the pet store, and they can be a bit of an eyesore. For something that’s out on display in my kitchen every day, I wanted something cuter. Finally, a few months ago, I found the perfect set at T.J. Maxx. Stainless steel and set in a solid wood tray, the bowls sit at the perfect height and angle for Phoebe (meaning way fewer hairballs). Plus, they’re easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Best of all? Now, her food station looks like an intentional fixture in the kitchen rather than an eyesore. Phoebe loves her new setup, and so does my wallet (the set of two bowls and the wooden tray only set me back $13 total). So not only are T.J. Maxx’s pet supplies budget-friendly, but they’re also really thoughtfully designed.

T.J. Maxx seems to always have at least one variation of these bowls in stock, and they come in all sizes. Whether you’re shopping for a German Shepherd or a Dachshund — or a seven-pound senior cat — you’re likely to find a stylish solution there. On a recent visit, I spotted several in all different sizes, shapes, and finishes.

Recently, I spoke to Olympian gymnast Aly Raisman about T.J. Maxx, and she agreed. “I love shopping for my dog [Mylo] here,” she told me. “They have a lot of cute dog toys, too; it’s great.”

So next time you’re in the market for new pet supplies, skip the pet store and consider T.J. Maxx first. Check out a few of my favorite pet-friendly finds currently available online, and take a trip down the pet aisle on your next visit! Because yes, your furry friends deserve to be fashionable, too.

2-Piece Marble Pet Bowl Set
$17

The marble top on this set of metal bowls makes them look so luxe. With these, my Phoebe would be feasting like royalty every night! Plus, I imagine the marble is a bit more durable and easy to clean than the wood top. All-in-all, a total steal for just $16.99.

THREE HANDS Large Chinoiserie Pet Bowl
$20

I had to do a double-take when I saw this chinoiserie pet bowl, because I thought it must be for humans! Effortlessly chic, this porcelain piece makes your pet’s clunky water bowl into a seriously stylish statement piece.

Laura Ashley Cotton Heirloom Floral Cuddler Pet Bed
$17

Aly Raisman told me she buys her dog beds at T.J. Maxx, so I bought a cat bed at T.J. Maxx. This cotton floral printed piece is a perfect patterned neutral. Your pet will love to lounge on it, and you’ll love to look at it. This would blend right in with any number of decor styles, too.
