On the seemingly endless list of things I want to do to make my house feel more like a home is making my outdoor space as enjoyable to be in as my indoor space. I’m not looking for a drastic outdoor transformation, but I definitely want to add some seating, lights, and decor to the patio. After searching for the right patio furniture for my space, I landed on this four-piece wicker seating set from The Home Depot.

The wicker patio furniture has an iron, rust-free frame, and features removable polyester cushion covers that are water-, UV-, and fade-resistant. What stood out to me about this particular patio furniture was the price point: It’s extremely affordable for something that’s so durable. Plus, it’s stylish, provides ample seating, and even has a table with a glass top and a built-in shelf at the bottom that can be used for storage.
The set arrived in two boxes, and assembling was easy enough for me and my husband to do (however, some reviewers noted that they had some difficulty putting it together). We placed it in the corner of our patio, where there’s some shade, as the seating can get really hot when it’s been in the sun all day.
I love that the cushions are completely removable via zipper, which makes it easy to take them off to wash. It’s recommended to hand- or spot-wash only with mild detergent, but you can also machine-wash it from time to time on a delicate cycle (but only if needed).
But the best part about having this patio set is that it’s improved our outdoor space in more than one way. Not only does it look nice, but it’s also allowed us to actually spend more time outside beyond tending to the garden or letting our dog out. It’s become a daily routine for us to sit outside in the late afternoon, relaxing as the sun sets — something we’ve never been able to do together until now. It’s kind of like an outdoor living room for us now, and I’m so glad we added it.
