Anthropologie mugs are my kryptonite. Over the years, I’ve purchased holiday models, gold flecked designs, and iridescent styles. But my favorite mug thus far — to get or gift — has to be the brand’s top-rated Bistro Tile Margot Monogram Mug, which also happens to be on sale right now.

Classic French style makes my heart sing. So it’s hard to resist the hex tile motif that wraps around the mug and references the typical black and white flooring you’ll find in Parisian cafes. The Art Deco-look design also features gold foil accents, which make anything — from morning coffee to hot chocolate — feel a little fancier, and I love the way the mug feels in hand. It’s substantial but not too heavy. I find myself reaching for it time and time again; the only downside is that it’s hand-wash only (and not microwave-safe), but it’s still easy to keep clean. I always smile when I sip down to the little flourish on the bottom of the mug. And though I’ve really only used this cup as it’s intended for, drinking, it could easily be put to work on a desk or countertop for corralling writing supplies, makeup brushes, or even toothbrushes.
