I’m always on the hunt for brands that make furniture and decor that looks way more expensive than it costs. It’s even better if those pieces speak to an interior design style that’s typically very hard to find on a budget, like ‘80s postmodern revival or classic Parisian. So in today’s installment of retailers you need to know about now comes TOV Furniture, a design-forward home furnishings company founded by husband-wife team Chaya and Bruce Krinsky back in 2013.

It’s hard to put an exact finger on TOV’s aesthetic, and that’s a good thing in my book. I like to think of the brand’s offerings as CB2 meets All Modern with a touch of Jonathan Adler-esque whimsy thrown in the mix. As was the case with Nathan James, last month’s brand spotlight, you might have seen TOV pop up on Amazon, Wayfair, and other retailers. But again, to shop the biggest selection of items, it makes sense to give the TOV site a whirl.

Silhouettes are, for the most part, streamlined, and pieces on the whole do skew modern. What I love about TOV Furniture most, though, is that the brand has tons of designer-approved materials in their collections — travertine, iridescent glass, rattan — but without the very high-end price tags. In general, prices are comparable to some of the more premium lines you’d find at Target (like Threshold designed with Studio McGee), but you’re still going to have to shell out a bit for a concrete dining table, for example, or a curved sectional.

In my mind, TOV Furniture is a great place to take a chance on a trendier item or source something special for a room that’s begging for a statement piece. I’m super impressed by their lighting selection in particular, and I love that they’ve started stocking funky glassware and table linens, too. Of course, you can find the typical home decor fare, from living room sofas and accent chairs to dining tables, beds, desks, and mirrors. The brand also has a decent selection of outdoor furniture. And as of late, TOV has been collaborating with other brands and creators to regularly bring customers pieces from different points of view. In fact, the brand just teamed up with the Snow Lodge at the St. Regis in Aspen, Colorado, to outfit a swanky lounge there, as pictured below.

Shipping is free for purchases over $299, and first-time buyers can snag a $20-off coupon. Because there are so many products on TOV Furniture, I flagged a few that caught my eye — large and small — with the hopes that you’ll like them, too.

You’d be hard pressed to find a trendy curved velvet sofa that’s this big — almost 100 inches wide — for less than this price tag of $979. This piece could fill a small-space living room entirely or be the anchor in a larger space.

She’s style, she’s grace — with its tapered, gold capped legs and beautiful burl patterning, the Brandyss Burl End Table would make a lovely accent in a warm minimalist or Hollywood Regency-inspired living area. In a pinch, you could use one as a nightstand alternative, too.

This cotton pendant is a true style chameleon. I could see it working in a mid-century modern, boho, or English country bedroom or dining nook. It’d be cute in a nursery as well, to balance out a whimsical wallpaper.

TOV has really upped its textile game as of late. I’m loving this scalloped edge square cushion, which features a two-toned, linen-meets-velvet composition and comes in a variety of peppy colors as well as classic black and white. Order one or more to add a pop of personality on a sofa, accent chair, or bed.

Okay, the Suzie Rattan Executive Desk isn’t cheap, but, man, is it ever a statement piece, whether you go for the lipstick pink or the softer cream or blue colorways. Best of all, the Art Deco-inspired design is finished on both sides, so you can float one in the middle of a home office, and it’ll look amazing from all angles. It’d also make a nice console or vanity.

Tov Furniture
$75.00

This one is for all you maximalists out there — it’s a tassel table lamp that’s equal parts silly and stylish. At $70, you can take a chance on this punchy piece, knowing full well that you’d pay three to four times for this kind of item at a designer store.

Tov Furniture
$285.00

I’ve talked about how expensive dining chairs can be, especially if you want an on-trend look. That’s why these wipeable faux leather stunners caught my eye. For $269, you get a pair, and they’re stackable, too, making them great for apartments and smaller homes. Choose from four different color combinations.

The Gotham Acacia Coffee Table checks so many on-trend boxes — tubular legs, an organic, wavy tabletop, sturdy acacia wood. It’s fairly large though, so you might want to skip it if you’re limited on square footage.

Update your bar cart with these wavy cups, which come in a bunch of pretty colors as well as clear glass. At just under $45 for a set of 4, they’re a great housewarming gift and dupes for much pricier styles.

Two of these cutie striped ottomans are at the top of my personal wish list. The beige and cream colored stripes would work with just about any palette, and the ball feet make them feel very current but also somewhat traditional.
