Tracy Morgan’s $2 Million New Jersey Home Is For Sale
After acquiring a lavish 21,000-square-foot colonial-style home in Alpine, New Jersey in 2015, Saturday Night Live alum Tracy Morgan is hoping to offload his comparatively modest digs in nearby Cresskill.
The Emmy-nominated comedian initially listed his 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom-home at $2.248 million but has since dropped the asking price to $1.998 million, which is slightly less than the $2.11 million Morgan paid for it back in 2011, according to Variety.
The 4,485-square-feet property dates back to the 1980s and sits on nearly an acre of land. The home shares a border with a six-acre preserve. While not quite as extravagant as “The Last O.G.” star’s Alpine residence, the Cresskill home is still on par with your above-average, luxurious celebrity home. A tree-lined circle driveway leads to an entrance hall with marble flooring and an all-wood floating staircase. Mahogany hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings and a massive double-height stone fireplace situated in the sunken living room are just a few of the renovated home’s standout amenities. The home also features 28-feet vaulted ceilings with skylights, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and custom-made cabinetry with a laundry room and a staff bedroom and bath located nearby. The second floor contains a pair of guest bedrooms along with another bedroom and the master suite with an envy-inducing 400-square-foot walk-in closet.
The posh pad also features a finished basement that houses a sauna, a climate-controlled wine cellar, a media room and a carpeted gym along with a spare bedroom and bathroom. The space used to hold Morgan’s ridiculously impressive $400,000, 3500-gallon shark tank, which deserves an honorable mention for obvious reasons.
The outdoor amenities are just as upscale. The home’s three-car garage includes a Tesla charging station. The backyard is equipped with a swimming pool and spa, a built-in fire pit and a playground.
