If you live near or frequently shop at Trader Joe’s, then you’re likely aware of the cult following they’ve built over the years. With what seems like an abundance of seasonal items in their arsenal, the quirky grocery chain consistently creates unique versions of snacks and foods we all know and love. But it’s not always a cake walk getting your hands on one of your personal favorites. 

Due to the brand’s strict seasonal calendar, there’s an inevitable demand for some of their most popular creations, and if you blink, you just might miss yours. The newest culprit on the list? This spring’s most talked-about bakery item: The Lemon Mini Sheet Cake.

This deliciously moist and lemony cake is only around for a limited time, and exists solely as a springtime alternative to its dark chocolate and vanilla sheet cake counterparts. Usually priced at around $4.49, the Lemon Mini Sheet Cake comes in an 18-ounce package that measures to be 8×6 inches, and if you’re not careful, can easily be eaten in one sitting. 

Though the packaging claims to serve six, I would recommend grabbing a couple while you’re at it because they’re definitely going to go quickly. And according to Reddit users, you’re not going to want to miss out on this one.

“I know people gush over the vanilla and chocolate mini sheet cake versions, and this one is just as dangerous, and by dangerous, I mean delicious,” one user wrote. “The cake is soft and lightly lemony and the cream cheese frosting while sweet wasn’t crazy sweet to the point I scraped it off. This thing is good.”
