Sure, you’ve got your Christmas tree set up in the living room, and the Trader Joe’s Grump Tree on display in the kitchen. And maybe you even have a few wreaths hanging outside or have a tinsel tree in the window of your bedroom. But if you don’t have enough Christmas-themed foliage yet, Trader Joe’s has yet another potted Christmas item you’ll definitely want to get your hands on.

It’s called the Desert Holiday Cactus and it appears to be a three-pronged Consolea rubescens (more commonly called a “road kill” cactus because of its flattened shape).

Each Desert Holiday Cactus comes in a white pot and has a pack of LED string lights ready for decorating included in each pot.

To care for your new cactus, all you need to do is find a super sunny spot in your home and refrain from watering until the soil is completely dry all the way through. It also thrives in hot, dry environments, so you can put it in the same room as your fireplace or woodstove and not worry about it drying out to a crisp.

And the LED lights that come with each Desert Holiday Cactus are battery-powered, meaning you can use them year after year.

The Desert Holiday Cactus plants are going for just $13 at Trader Joe’s, so get over there quickly if you’re feeling compelled to expand your Christmas greenery collection.
