Trevor Noah and “The Daily Show “are doing something unique to celebrate Women’s History Month. Noah commissioned the creative brain behind Lolly Lolly Ceramics, Lalese Stamps, to create a limited collection of 100 mugs that will sit on his desk on “The Daily Show” starting March 3.

“From Trevor’s desk in New York City to yours! To help mark Women’s History Month and highlight female creators, @thedailyshow has teamed up with Lolly Lolly to offer a limited-run collection of 100 mugs in three unique styles,” Stamps wrote in a March 1 Lolly Lolly Ceramics Instagram post.

“Each mug style was designed by Lolly Lolly founder Lalese Stamps, imprinted with a unique touch from The Daily Show, and can be spotted on Trevor’s news desk throughout March 2022.”

For three Thursdays in a row (March 3, March 10, and March 17), “The Daily Show” will unveil a new mug design created by Stamps, and after each unveiling, fans will have an opportunity to purchase the limited-edition mug from that week’s episode.

Stamps, who was one of four ceramicists to take part in Solange Knowles’ Saint Heron Ceramics Residency in Feb., founded Lolly Lolly in 2020 after completing a 2019 project called the 100 Mugs Project, which inspired her “Daily Show” capsule collection.

“It has been my sort of claim to fame,” Stamps told Architectural Digest. “I designed and created 100 mugs in 100 days with 100 different handles. They are each unique as individual mugs, but even more impactful as a whole.”

Three handles she designed during that project will now be featured on each of the three Daily Show mugs. You can check out the three final mug designs over on the Lolly Lolly website and stay tuned for your chance to purchase each mug as they make their television debut.
