Since its 2020 debut, “Ted Lasso” has comforted and delighted audiences with its seemingly endless feel-good vibes. The series follows Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, a super optimistic American football coach who travels across the pond to coach a British soccer team. Throughout the series, Lasso uses his warmth, kindness, and homemade biscuits to win over the hearts of those around him.

If you liked the show’s second season and you’re craving even more uplifting television, then look no further. Here are five shows that you’re sure to enjoy:

“Schitt’s Creek” is one of the most binge-able shows ever. The series follows the Rose family, who ended up moving to a small town after losing all their money. Like everyone’s favorite football coach, the Rose family has also been catapulted into a new environment where they don’t quite fit in. “Schitt’s Creek” is hilarious, tender, and as wholesome as it gets.

Available to watch on Netflix.

While “Ted Lasso” offers viewers a glimpse of what it takes to operate a professional football club, “Superstore” takes you to Cloud 9. The show follows a group of big-box store employees as they try to stand up to management while navigating their personal relationship inside and outside their jobs. There is romance, rivalries, and everything in between.

Available to watch on Hulu.

“The Good Place” and “Ted Lasso” are different in their overall approach, but they both have a great group of characters, heartwarming moments, and perfectly timed jokes. “The Good Place” takes place in the afterlife and follows Eleanor (Kristen Bell) who realizes she was accidentally sent to heaven aka the Good Place. Throughout the series, she works to hide her past mistakes while focusing on becoming a better person. Like Ted, Eleanor gets by with a little help from her friends, including Chidi (William Jackson Harper), Tahani (Jameela Jamil), Jason (Manny Jacinto), and Janet (D’Arcy Carden).

Available to watch on Netflix.

“Chewing Gum” is full of heart and hilarity. It follows a 24-year-old Christian virgin named Tracey (Michaela Coel) as she struggles to deal with her growing sexual desires. As viewers follow Tracey on her journey to lose her virginity they’re rewarded with countless cringe-worthy yet endearing moments.

Available to watch on Netflix.

If the writers of “Ted Lasso” ever did a musical episode, it would bring strong “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” energy. The show follows Zoey (Jane Levy) as she navigates the highs and lows of love and life. If that wasn’t complicated enough, she soon discovers she has the power to hear the innermost thoughts of those around her through song. The series is sweet and quirky, much like your favorite soccer series.
