Once upon a time in my home, if you randomly heard a very sudden and loud crashing sound coming from the bedroom, the culprit was one of my many jewelry organizers buckling from the weight of my collection and meeting its end on the floor. When it’s time to get dressed, I always gravitate toward big statement necklaces and earrings. My collection has grown quite a bit over the years, and finding a jewelry stand or organizer that could keep up with it was starting to feel like an impossible task.

Quick Overview

The Umbra Trigem Jewelry Stand Solves for Everything

The tall, modern jewelry stand not only complements any decor style, but it also holds long and short necklaces, bracelets, watches, earrings, and a few knickknacks without tipping over, and it takes up very little vanity or dresser space.

Then everything changed. As part of our first-ever Organization Awards — which debuted last week and features so many amazing problem-solving products — our editors had the opportunity to test drive some of the most popular product solutions around. Because jewelry storage was one of my biggest clutter trouble areas, I volunteered to try out the popular Umbra Trigem Jewelry Stand, which reviewers all over the internet can’t seem to stop raving about.

With an affordable $25 price tag (it’s on sale right now for $15), I was immediately intrigued, but also a little skeptical that it might not deliver on its overall promise — major jewelry storage without giving up too much countertop real estate. I’m here to tell you that I’m now a believer and proud to share it won the title of Best Jewelry Organizer. Here’s why.

The Umbra Trigem Jewelry Stand Stores Everything

I’ve tried organizers that were great for displaying my smaller necklaces, but couldn’t support bulky bracelets, rings, or earrings at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the design of this stand really offers ideal storage for all types of jewelry. Featuring three plated bars (in white nickel or brass) positioned at tiered heights, this Trigem Jewelry stand offers plenty of hanging space for every style of necklace or bracelet you own. The base is not only an added style element, but it also doubles as bonus storage for studded earrings or knickknacks. I placed a small perfume bottle on mine and used it as a stand for my wedding rings when I’m hopping in and out of the shower.

You Don’t Have to Worry About It Falling Over

After a super-easy three-minute setup, I fit 18 necklaces on mine with plenty of room for my bulky hoop earrings, too. Because I’m still scared by how many jewelry stands I’ve had to replace because they couldn’t stop falling over, I went out of my way to rock this one to see if it could actually hold strong. It didn’t budge. The design is solid on this one, and there was zero tipping in sight.

It Takes Up Very Little Counter Space

Despite its towering height, the base of this stand is only 9 inches long and 4 inches wide, which makes it able to sit comfortably and conveniently in the corner of your vanity or bedroom dresser or nightstand. Of course, a larger jewelry box can also hold your entire jewelry collection, but will most likely take up three times as much of your precious counter space.

Honestly, my husband has never been a huge fan of how much my jewelry collection overwhelms our tough-to-come-by counter and closet space, but after decluttering last fall as part of Apartment Therapy’s annual Decluttering Cure and now finding the right organizer to hold my most precious remaining pieces, our small bedroom dresser now feels neater and more functional than ever. I haven’t heard a peep from him about it, and that is what I call winning.
