It’s no secret that fringe has been having a major moment. Personally, I’m loving how much character this trimming adds to furniture pieces like lounge chairs and sofas. Right now, that’s where I’ve been seeing this maximalist design element at play the most.

Fringe isn’t limited just to seating, though. It can add major pizzazz to lots of other home decor, too. I’ve been noticing it popping up in home accessories big and small, from textiles to lighting. Some of the fringes are smaller and more delicate, while others can be more substantial with braiding or twists.

I’ve rounded up eight of my favorite fringe-forward pieces. These items are smart picks if you’re looking to hop on board the fringe trend but want to try it in smaller, slightly cheaper doses.

Sinclair Fringe Velvet Table Lamp
$248

A fringed lamp will add major Art Deco vibes to any area of the home. While I’m loving the soft blue colorway, you can choose from three other hues. That way, you’re sure to find an option that complements your style.

Bettie Tapenade Yellow Velvet Round Throw Pillow

This marigold throw pillow is extra perfect for autumn, but it’ll genuinely shine all year long. I like that it’s round; you see so many square and rectangular pillows with fringe, but this style feels a bit more unique and vintage-inspired.

Sinclair Fringe Clover Ottoman
$498

Ottomans are always useful, especially for small-space dwellers. I’d place a pair of these fringed, clover-shaped beauties at the end of a bed or even use one as a vanity stool. The color is just so bold and bright!

Essential Fringed Tablecloth
$99$79

Why not try a fringed tablecloth? Perfect for a round entry table, this pretty piece adds classic elegance to the home instantly. You can also use it in a small dining space, living room, or even on a round nightstand.

Burgundy Wine Damask Velvet Fringe Throw
$70

It’s tough to feel like you own too many throw blankets once temperatures drop, and I’m loving the moodiness of this damask tasseled beauty. Use it for a touch of richness on your sofa. The long, dramatic fringe couldn’t be more beautiful!

$70 at Etsy
Liv & Skye Gold 24 in. x 17 in. Modern Arched Metal Framed Mirror

If your style skews more boho, then this fringed metal mirror is for you. I’d try it in an entry over a console or even over a fireplace.

You could add your own fringe to a set of guest hand towels for your bathroom. Or you could just buy this ready-made design from Anthro. They’re the perfect mash-up of pattern and texture.
