Vanessa Hudgens Is Officially About Van Life — and You Can Rent the One She Traveled In

Last week, actress Vanessa Hudgens and her musician pal GG Magree hopped in a van and hit the road to get away for a while. Hudgens posted a handful of photos from the trip to her Instagram, and it looks like she and Magree were doing #VanLife right.

Hudgens rented a travel van from rental company Outdoorsy, which is basically Airbnb for RVs. She wrote in her caption, “Nature never felt so good” — especially when you’ve got the ride they rented.

Hudgens booked what’s called the “Knowmad Van” from host Helen. It’s a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter that comes with a queen-size bed/convertible hangout space, sink, microwave, refrigerator, and fairy lights galore. As Helen writes in her Outdoorsy rental listing, it’s a “Dream van turned reality.” Uh, seems like it.

Helen’s Knowmad Van is located in Malibu, California and she recommends you use it to travel from beach to beach around that area (Leo Carillo, Sycamore Cove, Thornhill Broome, or go north to Santa Barbara, Goleta, Solvang, Los Alamos, San Louis Obisbo, etc.). She also offers surfboard rentals and surfing lessons for an extra charge. Plus, her van is pet-friendly.

To take part in your very own Hudgens-inspired van trip in Helen’s van, you can check her availability over on Outdoorsy. The rental fee is $425 per night, but that price is discounted if you book a full week or month-long adventure.

Beyond the Knowmad Van, Outdoorsy offers a huge selection of RV rentals from awesome hosts, so even if you’re not in the Malibu area, you can still do as Hudgens did and hit the road. And definitely bring some extra battery-powered fairy lights with you — it adds some incredible ambiance to any camping experience.
