While I personally can’t resist a good wall tapestry — and feel like they’ve been everywhere as of late (even as rugs!), I also know it can be difficult to commit to a big, expensive piece of wall decor (if you even have the space!). So when you’re dealing with limited square footage or just want to start small with a slightly more unexpected, 3D piece of art, I couldn’t recommend wall charms more.

From metal to ceramic and everything in between, many different wall charm styles are on the market, some of which are less than $50 a pop! Here, you’ll find a few of my favorite picks. There’s something for every aesthetic, from classic to coastal.

Louisa Monogram Gallery Wall Charm
$38

Monogrammed decor will never go out of style, and if you’re looking for a way to infuse personality into your space, a letter wall charm like this one, featuring a single letter, is an easy way to start. You can, of course, order multiple and spell out a short word, phrase, or your entire set of initials, too. And if you have kids whose names begin with different letters, I could also see purchasing a wall charm like this to hang on the outside of each child’s bedroom door for a fun, personalized touch!

Swan Ceramic Wall Hanging
$60

Have you noticed that swans are popping up everywhere in the home design world lately? This ceramic wall charm will help you embrace this decor trend in no time. It’s quite petite in size but would look amazing as part of a larger gallery wall.

Ceramic Flower Gallery Wall Charm
$38

These floral wall charms look like handmade pieces you might find at a local craft fair, when in reality, they’re available with the click of a button. In my view, these would look especially darling in a kitchen, powder room, or nursery. At approximately 8x11 inches, they’re a nice size if you’re looking to fill an empty section of a wall without spending much.

Berries
$45

Inspired by 19th century designs, these botanical plaques, available in three colors, are an excellent way to add architectural intrigue and historic character to your space. Display one on its own or hang a few in an arrangement of four or six for added impact.

$45 at House Parts
Spiral Sun Metal Wall Art
$23$16

This metal sun wall charm will add celestial flair to your home. It’s available in a wide range of sizes depending on your needs and is also offered in dozens of different colors, so you can really feel like you’re going the custom route here!

$16 at Etsy
Urban Outfitters Illustrated Goose Hanging Wall Tile
$18

Add a dose of whimsy to any nook within your space with the help of these illustrated goose hanging wall tiles (choose from a goose fishing or playing tennis — how cute!). The accompanying pink ribbon couldn’t be sweeter.

$18 at Urban Outfitters
Avila Rattan Wall Decor
$348

While these rattan wall charms are a splurge, they’ll add major coastal flair to any space and could even be divided up and placed in different rooms, if you’d prefer not to hang them as a set.
