It’s been almost a year since we reported whispers of Wayfair’s foray into physical retail. Now, the online retailer is confirming their plans to open up a brick and mortar location in 2019. Here’s everything we know so far.

If you’re wary of buying furniture online only to have to deal with the hassle of returning it, Wayfair’s new retail location is for you. To be located in the Natick Mall in Natick, Massachusetts, the store is set to open in the fall of this year.

The company asserts that shopping in store and online “will be a seamless, connected experience for shoppers.” Home design experts will be on hand to offer complimentary design consultations, and folks will be able to both make purchases in store, as well as place orders for home delivery.

If you don’t live near Natick, though, you still might get to shop the retailer in person. Wayfair also announced that four pop-up shops are coming this summer, with locations not yet released. Wayfair has previously held pop-ups during the 2018 holiday season in the Boston suburb, as well as in Paramus, New Jersey.

The home decor giant has been testing out new programs and opportunities recently. In February, the company officially opened an outlet location attached to their Kentucky warehouse that mostly sells returned items in good condition. Though if you visit, bring a truck—the outlet unfortunately doesn’t offer shipping.

In October 2018, they launched their own version of Amazon Prime called MyWay, which costs $30 annually and offers free shipping, discounts on in-home services, exclusive deals, and more. September was the debut of their first in-house furniture collection, Grayleigh, which has strong RH vibes.
