We Tried It: The Miracle Grout Pen Test, Before & After

We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest (and easiest) cleaning tools, so when our Apartment Therapy Office Manager Nelly came into work the other day raving about a project that transformed her dingy, rental bathroom grout, our ears perked right up.

No doubt it has to do with the fact that she’s expecting, but Nelly’s been doing all sorts of nesting lately. She’d run through our arsenal of tips with little change to her stubborn stains (and we’re guessing that with a baby on board, she didn’t relish scrubbing on her hands and knees much anyway).

Finally she took a chance on this Miracle Grout Pen to do the job. Miracle indeed! She prepped the floor by sweeping and mopping before starting to trace the grout lines. She wound up using two pens to cover her floor and she told us that her bathroom, “looks and feels better than it ever has.”
