West Elm Kids’ Adult-Approved New Line Combines Fashion & Home Design
Fashion designer Joseph Altuzarra — known for his eponymous clothing label, Altuzarra — is officially bringing his keen eye for design to children’s rooms, partnering with West Elm Kids on a whimsical new line fit for little ones and adults alike.
The limited-edition, 42-piece collaboration just launched today, featuring a mix of adorable nursery furniture, decor, bedding, storage, lighting, and even kids’ pajamas. Altuzarra, a father of two, aimed to inspire imagination throughout the home capsule, as seen with playful recurring hot air balloons and celestial motifs that he illustrated himself.
“When I became a father, I discovered a white space for chic, sophisticated interiors that were both beautiful and functional, and together with West Elm Kids, we aimed to create pieces that would harmoniously blend style and practicality, capturing the whimsy and wonder of childhood,” he adds in a press release.
Even grown-ups can shop the West Elm Kids x Joseph Altuzarra collection, too: There’s a neutral-toned dresser, rattan side table, and pleated pendant lamp that I’d proudly style in my apartment as is.
This fashion-focused collab is now available via West Elm Kids, with prices ranging from $34 to $1,799 for larger furniture items — honestly relatively reasonable, given the award-winning designer behind the launch. Below, I picked out a few of my favorite versatile products, whether you’re decorating a nursery, playroom, or your very own bedroom.
