From social media to home decor websites, clamshell accents seem to be everywhere right now. I’ve even happily embraced this trend in my own home after scooping up a gold clamshell-shaped dish from a local boutique in New York City.

I love how it looks on the open shelves in my living room, but I’ve also styled it on my coffee table and used it to hold matches from some of my favorite local restaurants. Recently, I found a second clamshell at a different home store in the city and use it to hold my jewelry on my nightstand at the end of the day.

To me, it makes total sense that clamshells are having a major moment — after all, they fit in perfectly with the coastal grandmother aesthetic that’s been popular for the past couple of years. As someone whose style leans more contemporary, I like that clamshells nicely complement my neutral color palette and add textural intrigue to any vignette. Plus, who doesn’t love their funky, wavy shape?

If you’re in the market for some clamshell accents of your own, I’ve rounded up some of my top picks, all of which come in at under $65 each.

This clamshell dish is similar in style to the one on my nightstand and ships in just two days, making it a winning pick. At 8 inches wide, it’s fairly sizable and would look cute whether left empty or used as a receptacle of sorts — fill it with matchbooks, earrings, bracelets, you name it.

Can you ever own too many whimsical vases? We think not. This clamshell-shaped vase is full of fun and will take any tablescape to the next level. Even when it’s left empty, it’s nice to look at and would be pretty styled on a shelf.

If you’re really going all out with the clamshell theme, you’ll want to be sure to order this festive plastic punchbowl, which can also be used to serve a wide range of foods. It’s easy to wash out and reuse, too.

While I’m mainly loving clamshell-shaped bowls and dishes, I’ve also come across a few other clamshell finds that will add cheer to any corner of the home. For example, how adorable would this clamshell-shaped hook look hanging in a bathroom or hallway?

I’m also all about these clamshell-shaped candles, which can be customized to your liking based on color and scent preference.
