Let’s get one thing straight: I love my two Chihuahuas and Holland Lop rabbit. The thing I’m not necessarily infatuated with? The dirt and debris they added to my white couch. It was naive of me to think my husband and I could pull off a white couch in our tiny, animal-filled apartment — so when I had the chance to test Ashley’s Whitehaven 2-Piece Modular Sectional, I jumped at it.

What Is Ashley’s Whitehaven 2-Piece Modular Sectional?

Ashley’s Whitehaven 2-Piece Modular Sectional is a couch from the store’s new Luxe line, which launched in 2026 and offers furniture as well as decor. The new range showcases furniture made with premium materials, including velvet, leather, and woods that look natural and untouched, but at a lower price point than other designers. (For example, an oversized accent chair begins at $999.) The sofa is available in two colors, oyster and sable, and in velvet and bouclé.

The sofa is large — 94’’ W x 44’’ D x 38’’ H and weighs 218 pounds — but it still fits in my living room without overwhelming it. I opted for Ashley’s white glove delivery service, which made getting it into the room a breeze.

Why I Love Ashley’s Whitehaven 2-Piece Module Sectional

Although I was initially drawn to the sofa’s look, when I finally sat down on it at home I was sold. I chose the Sable shade, which is an olive-gray color. Even though the couch is velvet, the material didn’t make me feel overheated even in the summer. My two Chihuahuas’ white-colored fur is barely visible when they shed onto the fabric, and it’s so easy to vacuum or go over with a lint roller. Getting furniture into my apartment has always been a challenge with narrow tenement-building doorways, and I’m no stranger to the couch doctor, but the ability to separate the two seats made it much easier to get it inside.

The four pillows that were included and the 100% polyester cushions are a dream to lie on. They’re the perfect blend of soft and stable, so you’re supported but still comfortable underneath. They’re so comfortable that my husband sometimes falls asleep in the living room and I have to wake him up. (But, if I’m being honest, I really don’t blame him!) If you’re looking for a couch so comfortable it might become your temporary bed, consider Ashley’s Whitehaven 2-Piece Modular Sectional.
