Aldi Is Selling the Most Gorgeous Small-Space Find for $40

If you’re drawn to more unique shapes and styles, the quest to find the perfect furniture for your home can be exciting, but tough — especially if you are working with a tight budget and limited space. I learned this recently when trying to find a sculptural floor lamp for my living room. I found one, but it was a time-consuming process. However, if you’re currently in the market for a chic, affordable ottoman that’s also efficiently sized, all you have to do is swing by Aldi. Right now, it’s selling a gorgeous small-space friendly one for just $40.

Shaped like a rainbow or upside-down U, this bouclé waterfall-style ottoman from Aldi is stylish, practical, and playful. Normally when you think of an ottoman, you envision it by a couch or loveseat. You can certainly do that here, but its curved shape and soft texture mean it functions not just as a footstool, but also as an end table, small shelf, or additional seating. And since it’s relatively short — it measures 24.41 inches long, 16.14 inches deep, and 17.72 inches tall — it could be stored away under a table if you need to free up space. 

If this ottoman looks familiar, it’s because it had a limited run in 2024. Once again, it’s available in two colors: cream and dark gray. so if you missed it then, now’s your chance — until it disappears once again from Aldi shelves. 

Aldi doesn’t offer online shopping, so if you’re eyeing this ottoman but can’t get to a physical store, you can find a similar option over at Wayfair. It has a very similar shape, size, and upholstery style (though if you want to get technical, it’s teddy instead of bouclé) and comes in similar neutral shades of ivory, dark green, and camel. There’s also a white corduroy version, if that’s more your style.

At $83.99, the Wayfair version is over twice the price of the Aldi waterfall ottoman, but right now it’s 21% off, bringing the price down to $65.99. It also has a 4.8 rating average: “This is a stylish and sturdy footstool. It’s also pretty comfortable for sitting, the perfect size for my space,” one reviewer writes.
