Aldi’s Best-Selling Blanket Storage Ladder Is Finally Back

I love snuggling up in a big blanket pile when it gets cold out, but when it warms up I have to find somewhere to put all these plush blankets. This can be a challenge for my small apartment (which doesn’t have much closet space).  

Vertical storage can be a lifesaver, and Aldi has once again restocked a super-smart and popular blanket storage solution at a very affordable price point.

Part of this week’s crop of Aldi Finds, the Sohl Blanket Ladder ($24.99) looks more or less like an ordinary ladder with a sophisticated dark wood finish. When you lean it against a wall, you can drape folded blankets over its rungs — it’s as simple as that. If it looks familiar, it’s because Aldi has stocked this popular blanket ladder before. It measures 17.2 inches wide by 63 inches tall. 

Although this ladder is technically designed for blanket storage, there are plenty of other ways you could use it. Put it in the bathroom for towels, or lean it against your bedroom wall and drape it with scarves, belts, or even charging cables.

You can only get this blanket ladder by going to an Aldi store in-person during the week of August 26, 2026, so if this isn’t in the cards for you then you’ll have to wait for this ladder to appear at Aldi again or find an alternative. 

Fortunately, it isn’t the only slender blanket ladder around. In the past, Apartment Therapy has recommended the HOOBRO 5-tier blanket ladder from Amazon ($27.59) because it’s similar in style and price, and has a dark wood finish. It offers ladder-rung storage plus a few built-in hooks at the top for hanging smaller items, and it measures 16.9 inches wide by 58.3 inches tall.
