This Slim Storage Cart Slides Into Narrow Kitchen Gaps — and It’s So Useful

Living in a small apartment has taught me to utilize every nook and cranny for storage, but the awkward gap between my fridge and my kitchen wall was the one problem area I struggled to solve. The untapped storage space was a total mess — and basically a dumping ground for tote bags and cleaning products. It’s also only 7.5 inches wide, which made it nearly impossible to find something that fit in the narrow space. The CABTE Slim Storage Cart single-handedly solved my kitchen’s dead space problem. Its narrow proportions (13x7x16 inches) filled the gap next to my fridge flawlessly and finally gave me a place to organize all my reusable grocery bags, instead of them lying in a crumbled heap on the floor. The drawers pull out smoothly so I can quickly grab bags before heading out for a grocery run. I keep bulkier items like cleaning wipes and laundry supplies on the open top shelf, and stash face masks and cleaning gloves in the bottommost drawer. It holds so much more than I ever expected, which makes this once-cluttered space look clean and put-together. 

Amazon finds can be a bit of a mixed bag in terms of quality, but the CABTE storage cart surprised me. It felt really stable straight out of the box, which was exceptionally packaged, BTW). And I never feel like it’s going to break or tip over when I’m opening the drawers in a hurry. The drawers are also locked in place, so I don’t have to worry about them popping off of the tracks. The wheels roll smoothly, too, but I keep them locked because I don’t find myself needing to move the cart often (the drawers make everything easy to reach!). I’ve had it for over five months now, and it looks brand-new — I know I’ll bring it with me whenever I move into a new place. 

It’s also one of the more stylish options I saw while browsing Amazon. The matte off-white finish gives the cart a clean, modern appearance, and brightens up the dark shadowy space next to the fridge. I like that it’s not trying to be anything it isn’t with a faux wood top or ornate-looking embellishments; its sleek simplicity is part of its appeal. 

The CABTE Slim Storage Cart might be pricier than other options on Amazon, but it’s the only one that ticks all the boxes: storage, size, and style. I have no regrets, and I doubt you will either.
