The “Gorgeous” Amazon Storage Gem That Instantly Decluttered My Tiny Bathroom (So Much Extra Space!)

Ah, the struggle of a tiny bathroom. Unfortunately, I’m familiar with it. Every single bathroom I’ve had throughout my entire adult life has been frustratingly cramped and lacking in storage — a double whammy. Though I’ve cut out a lot of unnecessary items over the years (you learn to manage with only the essentials), I’ve still had to get crafty to store all of my toiletries. 

At first, I used stackable storage bins on the back of my toilet for my eyeshadow palettes and everything else would be shoved underneath the sink — makeup, toilet paper, other bathroom essentials, you name it. This wasn’t an ideal setup, visually or practically. However, I also didn’t want to leave my things splayed across the counter, which would definitely overwhelm the tiny space with clutter. I can’t believe I didn’t consider installing a cabinet above my toilet before now, but now that I have, I’m amazed at the difference it has made. Not only does it make my bathroom look more gorgeous, but it keeps things out of sight and easy to find. 

This stunning cabinet makes the most out of the space it takes up on your wall, coming out only about five inches and measuring about 23 inches high and 20 inches wide. Perfect for bathrooms, it’s made of sturdy MDF board and coated in water-based spray paint that makes it water-resistant. The brand also added a mounting system (hardware included) with an extra board on the back to enhance its security on the wall. Another selling point? The shelf on the inside can be adjusted within three inches to accommodate a range of items no matter the height. The distance between my toilet and sink is less than an inch, so a standing over-the-toilet rack wasn’t a possibility. One shelf wrangled my enormous eyeshadow collection instantly; the other holds supplies that I find myself reaching for frequently, like my nail polish remover and makeup wipes. The best part is that it’s all concealed behind two doors. The little cubbies along the bottom perfectly fit a tissue box, though they’d also be a great spot for displaying more decorative items. The flat surface along the top also finally gave me an accessible place to keep my toilet paper. Plus, it’s all wrapped up in a stylish package. I went with the cool mint color because it matched my shower curtain, though it also comes in neutral white, black, and brown. The design is simple and timeless, and so versatile that I know I’ll bring it with me when I move into another apartment, small bathroom or not.
