As cliche as it sounds, I just had a really good feeling about it… The moment I pulled up to the home, I instantly fell in love. I’m one of nine apartments in a designated heritage house, which sits on over an acre of land.

Before & After: Butler’s Pantry Gets Glossed Over

When Sue De Chiara first saw the butler’s pantry in her (now) new house, this was what it looked like: Storage for miles, dark wood cabinetry, and black countertops. It’s undoubtedly a phenomenal space, but Sue found a way to make it a total showstopper. Leaving the countertops and sink as is, she painted the cabinets a glossy deep blue and switched out the hardware. It just goes to show how dramatic a change can be made with just paint!

Would You (Did You?) Honeymoon At Home?

We’ve discussed staycations many times, and lauded them as great ways to both save money on hotels and travel and get to feel like tourists in our own city. But what about honeymooning at home? Could a week off from work, perhaps with a housekeeper, lounging about and/or doing all the things you always wish you had time for (both on the town and at home, heh-heh) be the sweetest honeymoon?
