A Bright White “Beach Barn”
Name: Stephanie Location: Bridgehampton, New York I recently renovated and designed in Bridgehampton, NY. The house was a labor of love and my first real design project. The house is an old farm-house that I updated and made into what we call, The Beach Barn. I began by removing outdated fans, track lighting, updating the kitchen and bathrooms, staining the yellow pine floors to a beautiful light stain, updating all of the trim and adding an entire finished basement.

13 of the Dreamiest Outdoor Spaces for Lazy Weekend Afternoons
A warm-toned rooftop in Mexico City filled with cacti. A tucked away French Quarter courtyard escape. Expansive and cozy alfresco spots bursting with lush plant life. These are 13 of the dreamiest outdoor spaces I’ve seen recently. And if I could, I’d park myself in any one of these locales with a book, a cold drink and the intention of not moving all day. Layers of plants and a view to die for spotted in this Bohemian Hotel in the Heart of Mexico City.

A Lovely LA Backyard Designed for The Drought
Name: Ujjaini and Adit Location: Los Angeles, California This is such a great example of thoughtful and practical design. Ujianai and Adit built a great backyard that is not only inspired by their enviornment, but designed to help it. From Ujjaini and Adit: When we bought our house two and a half years ago, we knew the backyard needed work. We were lucky to make a large enough outdoor space and good weather to enjoy it all year around.
