Pottery Barn has been going through quite an evolution this year. As average home sizes grew in the last half of the 20th century, so did their furniture. Now, the retailer is returning to their roots and catering to a smaller demographic—smaller in square footage, that is.

Hi everyone! I’m excited to be back in our studio this week for a feature that I’ve been waiting to share for the past few months. When I heard that my friends Bob and Cortney Novogratz would be launching an online boutique on Amazon, I was eager to check it out in person. Their team was kind enough to send over some of the pieces (including a blush sofa that could not match the blush walls of our new studio any more perfectly) and I’m excited to walk you all through it today.

Earlier this year, we predicted what would be trendy in the kitchen for 2017, from rich, muted hues, warmer finishes, New Bohemian style and more. We’re now more than halfway through this year, and I find myself looking back at 2017’s designs. I’ve seen many of the trends predicted above come true, but I’ve also noticed a color trend emerge for the kitchen that I didn’t expect: mint green!
