Not Your Average Cruise: This Floating Hotel is a Minimalist Design Lover’s Dream

Booking a stay at a traditional hotel is fine and dandy, unless you’re ready for accommodations that move you in a different direction – literally. Capitalizing off the architectural design theme of movement, Guntû is an upscale floating hotel that travels along the shores of Japan’s Seto inland sea. Japanese architect Yasushi Horibe created this unique vacation-themed vessel, which seems like the easiest way to kick up your heels and get your sea legs at the same time.

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt List Their Hollywood Hills Home

Anna Faris is selling her mid-century modern oasis in the Hollywood Hills, which she once shared with soon-to-be ex-husband Chris Pratt and their son Jack. According to Architectural Digest, Faris purchased the 2,500 square foot 3/3 bungalow on a lush (nearly an acre) lot in Nichols Canyon back in 2005 for $1.995 million, while married to first husband Ben Indra. The actress and author recently listed the property for $2.5 million — it was once previously listed in 2013 for $2.3 million.

Individualizing the ubiquitous MICKE desk is a totally approachable project—and just as affordable as the desk itself.
