Once October rolls around, it’s easy to start feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to plan the perfect fall. Social media can make it feel like if I don’t have a calendar full of autumn activities, like pumpkin-patch dates, hayrides, or apple picking, I’m somehow doing fall wrong. Luckily a few years ago my friends and I found an inexpensive way to gather and celebrate the season.
