Gunn enjoys the challenge of maximizing a small space. For example, the space doesn’t have a kitchen, but Gunn’s set up a movable cart for warming food and making drinks. “It’s just enough for what I need,” he shares.

Nestled in the busy city of Bangkok, Nor and Fon’s 700-square-foot condo is a serene retreat that seamlessly blends their shared passion for design. Nor, a set and graphic designer in the film industry — with a background in architecture — who recently worked on the new White Lotus series, and Fon, a creative force with a passion for interior design, have created a space that feels both personal and inspiring.

Graphic designer Min turned her tiny rental into a calm, plant-filled escape — with warm lighting, a hammock, and space for Kuro the dog to lounge.

“I want my studio to tell you who I am through its decor; every corner of the flat contains clues as to who I am," explains renter Charlène.

The backyard oasis perfectly complements the deep green kitchen cabinets.

Homeowner Emily wanted a project — but at first, the work ahead was daunting.

After living on a boat, the homeowners wanted a return to land but with the ocean just steps away.

“Queer spaces are disappearing, particularly spaces for queer women,” Hannah says. “So we realized these spaces can also exist within our homes.”
