The console table is, in our opinion, a wonderfully versatile and underrated piece of furniture. It's perfect for an entryway, but equally useful as a side table in a hallway or living room. Not only do these pieces offer a convenient place to drop your keys and mail when you walk in the door, but they're also stylish enough to make the entire room.

The narrowest option on the list, measuring only seven inches deep, this console table is sized for small spaces.

An essential (and very affordable) console that complements a home with warm industrial style.

The best part of this simple white table is the glass top that lets the open drawers double as display cases.

Our Previous Lists:

A slender brass frame and glass shelves makes this West Elm option undeniably elegant.

A simple shape, in hammered gold and marble, is both luxurious and modern.

A combination of drawers and a lower shelf offer spots for both storage and display.

Perfect for tight spaces, at only 10 inches deep, and available in a huge variety of colors (even pink!).

Clear acrylic means this console won't take up visual space in a small entryway.

Other Good Resources:

This 7-foot long table turns a typically overlooked piece into a standout.

This beauty may cost about as much as a used car, but the angular brass frame and stone top are absolutely exquisite.
