The 10 Best New Home and Wellness Gadgets from IFA 2026 — They’re Seriously Next-Level

As editors, scoping out the latest and greatest home trends is a key part of our job description — and part of how we do that is by attending industry trade shows. But IFA Berlin isn’t your average trade show — it’s a global five-day showcase of the most innovative products in tech, from home appliances and entertainment to smart gadgets and beauty and wellness finds. Thousands of brands from around the world exhibit new and soon-to-be-launched products here and get invaluable real-time feedback from attendees before they hit the market. It’s essentially a first look into the future of tech (and boy, was it promising!). 

This year, around 240,000 attendees gathered at Messe Berlin to experience the tech firsthand. Spread over 2,045,142 square feet, IFA featured a full program of activations, like panels with industry leaders, product demos, and even live music performances and podcast recordings in IFA’s sprawling outdoor space, the Sommergarten. It’s truly massive.

I spent a week experiencing everything IFA Berlin had to offer, and walked the show floor to find the best home and lifestyle products. And while many of our “Best In Show” winners haven’t launched in the U.S. yet, they’re worth keeping on your radar until they do. Here’s why. 

Launching September 16, the UltraCharge Pro Power Bank 10K is small enough to fit in your pocket, but powerful enough to quickly charge up to three devices at once via two USB-C and one USB-A port. The BoostSolid Cell technology has a longer lifespan than traditional liquid-cell portable batteries, and its smart display showcases the bank’s battery level and charging status in real time, so you’re never left wondering. And if you’ve heard the horror stories about power banks spontaneously combusting on flights, know that Belkin’s features built-in dual-chip temperature monitors for safe charging while you’re traveling. 

We’re always on the lookout for sleek alternatives to the dreaded boob light, and the Ceiling Light Pro by Govee — the editor-approved lighting brand — is exactly that. In addition to its main light, the 18-inch smart light features a backlight that beautifully diffuses light onto your ceiling, creating a dreamy layered effect. Set the brightness, color, and temperature to create a custom ambiance, choose from 100 lighting scenes on the Govee app, or activate the Music Mode setting for an immersive experience that elevates your playlist. Plus, the built-in AI lighting bot lets you speak your desired ambiance into existence (and gets more precise the more you use it!).

A sleep tracker, sound machine, and sunrise clock, all rolled into one smart device, Anker’s soon-to-be-launched SleepLab Pro features an electric radar that rises from the device to monitor your sleep through the air (yes, really). There are no wearables or creepy cameras involved, and all the sleep data is stored directly on the device. By morning, you’ll have all the sleep stats you could want, including a sleep score, a chart detailing your various sleep stages, details on your breathing regularity and snoring, heart rate, and an in-depth analysis of your sleep environment. 

The SleepLab Pro also features over 100 built-in sleep sounds to help you wind down before bed (they automatically shut off once you’ve fallen asleep), personalized breathing exercises, and a gentle sunrise alarm for a calming start to the day. Best of all? There’s no subscription. I can’t wait to get my hands on this. 

The IFA halls were lined with the latest in wearable tech, but the Ringconn Gen 3 Smart Ring stood out for several reasons. It gives you around-the-clock access to over 63 health metrics, including your heart and respiratory rate, heart rate variability, sleep quality, and breathing, all without a subscription fee. It also touts longer battery life than other, pricier smart rings on the market, and feels thin and lightweight on your finger. It’s a health tracker so sleek and unobtrusive, you might even forget that you’re wearing it, save for the gentle vibrations that alert you to health changes and remind you to get moving if you’ve been sedentary for too long. 

It seemed like every home brand had a robot vacuum on display, but Dreame’s latest, the Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete, has allll the bells and whistles. It uses high-temperature steam to mop up spills and sanitize floors, and has an extendable roller mop to tackle edges and corners for a complete clean. 

Even more impressive, it can climb steps and floor-level changes up to 10 centimeters tall and avoid over 320 types of obstacles with its AI-powered OmniSight System — which learns your home’s nooks and crannies with repeated cleaning and never misses a spot. If the other Dreame vacuum mop we tested is any indication, then this is a launch you can’t miss. 

Invite some whimsy and wild life into your outdoor space with this new-to-AT brand’s AI-powered bird feeder. The first of its kind with a crystal-clear 4K view, Birdfy’s Metal 2 4K feeder uses Ornisense AI technology to accurately identify every bird that visits the feeder, and delivers speedy alerts to your phone so you never miss a sighting. Its sturdy (and chew-proof!) metal structure features a waterproof camera to allow for next-level bird watching no matter the season — and it’s powered by a built-in solar panel for uninterrupted use. I’m calling it now: This is going to be the holiday gift for all the new and experienced bird watchers in your life.

Home entertainment systems are expectedly a huge part of IFA, and while the floor was full of massive flat screens to oggle, Hisense’s RoamView Portable TV immediately caught my attention due to its smaller footprint. Designed with a 32-inch 4K touchscreen and set on a sleek, adjustable stand with swivel wheels, the RoamView can be rolled between rooms, rotated, or tilted for effortless visibility. There are no pesky cords to deal with, and its 10-hour battery life lets you stream movies from bed or bring it into the kitchen without being tethered to an outlet. There’s even a built-in wideview camera and microphone for video calls. I loved the art display function, too, which basically turns the TV into a decorative accent. 

Levoit is known for its air purifiers, and they’ve packed that powerful 5-stage HEPA filtration into their newest release, the Vortex IQ Cordless Stick Vacuum. Equipped with a powerful 210-watt motor, it sucks up 99.99% of allergens, and keeps it all from leaking back out into the air as you clean. The built-in green LED lights illuminate fine dirt, dust, and debris over a 150-degree field for a super-precise clean every time. But the pièce de résistance is its 180-degree bend that allows the vacuum to lie completely flat and sneak under low, hard-to-reach areas like under the bed or sofa. It also gains points in my book for its slim, self-standing design that stores seamlessly into small spaces. 

Walking the IFA floor felt like a workout, so when I found myself at the DREO booth I really luxuriated in the presence of its new launch: the TurboCool™ Misting Fan 765S. The tower fan is essentially part fan, part misting fan, and part humidifier. It has a strong airflow that offers up to 10-degree cooling, and it emits an ultra-fine mist that feels almost imperceptible on your skin (which means no messy droplets) but is undeniably refreshing. You can control the humidity level, airflow, fan oscillation, and even the low-key ambient light straight from the app or remote control. It was hard to pull myself away from its breezy goodness — but I had lots of ground to cover! 

AT editors have covered Kingsmith’s foldable walking pads before, but its soon-to-be-launched Walkingcase completely blew me away. It’s exactly what it sounds like: a walking pad that folds up into a slim suitcase-like body. Sure, you might not take your workout equipment with you while traveling, but it’s great to have the option, and I appreciate how inconspicuous the pad looks in its suitcase format. Especially for those of us who don’t have the under-furniture space to stash a walking pad, the Walkingcase looks like a narrow piece of high-end luggage with its ribbed “hardshell” exterior. It could lean against the wall or nestle in your closet without attracting any attention at all.
