Listen, I know we’re still three whole months away from 2027, but I’ve learned my lesson about putting off my life admin tasks until the very last minute. I’m booking my doctors’ appointments, getting my car’s oil changed, clearing my inbox, and actually using my FSA funds with intention this year. Instead of blowing through it all right before the funds expire, I’m being strategic about my spending and using my FSA dollars for eligible medical expenses like over-the-counter medications, prescription eyeglasses, sunscreen, and acne products — and now, potentially,  Brooklinen bedding.

Brooklinen just partnered with Truemed, a third-party platform that helps qualifying shoppers use HSA/FSA funds on select products that are deemed medically necessary. At Brooklinen, you can select Truemed at checkout and pay with your HSA/FSA card. After checkout, Truemed emails you a short health survey, which a licensed provider reviews to determine your eligibility and, if you qualify, issue a Letter of Medical Necessity. Only select Brooklinen items qualify through Truemed, but if you have FSA funds left to spend, it’s worth taking a look before the end of the year. Personally, I’ve got my eye on the brand’s editor-loved Washed European Linen Sheets, which are among the products currently listed as eligible for qualified customers. Here’s why.

Why Our Editor Loves the Brooklinen Washed European Linen Sheets

I’ll put it this way: Brooklinen’s Washed European Linen sheets are so good, they won over  AT’s Executive Home Director, Danielle Blundell, who historically hasn’t been a fan of linen bedding. Brooklinen went through 27 versions of the sheets before landing on the new-and-improved version you can shop right now.

Made of 100% European flax, the upgraded sheets are designed to feel softer and smoother than their predecessors — which tracks, because Danielle said hers felt soft straight out of the package. “Typically, I’ll wash new sheets before putting them on (for extra softness), but I was feeling lazy, so I skipped that step this time and found that the set felt plenty soft and cozy,” she wrote in her review. The sheets are garment-washed, which gives them that relaxed, lived-in texture, and Brooklinen says it also increased their fabric weight and tensile strength for a more durable, substantial feel (they’re not wispy, “barely there” sheets). “The fabric is just a little bit heavier and the tensile stronger than before, so you know they’re going to last (and that’s why they’re worth the spend … because they aren’t inexpensive),” she added.

The Washed European Linen Core Sheet Set includes one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and two pillowcases, and is available in 20 colors — including stylish striped and check patterns.

What Brooklinen Shoppers Are Saying

“I love my own linen sheets so much that when I saw these on sale in my friend’s favorite color, I had to send them new bedding for their birthday! They said their first night with them they didn’t overheat once and slept 11 hours straight without interruptions — such a gift win!” —Cody

“I’ve used these sheets for over three years now, and they’ve only gotten softer in the process. No tears or thinning that I can see. They do wrinkle easily, but that comes with the territory with linen.” —Leah

“We love these sheets and use them year-round. Very nice feeling and long-lasting. We have another set that we’ve used for several years and they are holding up great. They have a nice look and feel to them. Good weight. Comfortable. Never too hot for us.” —Amber Q.

Buy: Washed European Linen Core Sheet Set, $314 (normally $369)
