With more and more people committed to adopting a nomadic lifestyle, the case for making permanent living spaces out of campers continues to grow stronger. Recently, we’ve seen a family of four living in a Mercedes sprinter van and even received an up close and personal look at this newlywed couple who transformed a retro van into a cozy tiny home to travel cross country.

Over 1 million American couples live on the road and if you’re looking to join them, Oasis Campervans can have you settled and rolling towards the destination of your choice in a customized camper van conversion.

The Colorado-based company specializes in revamping Toyota Sienna vans, but they’ll also do conversions on the Dodge Caravan, Honda Odyssey and other smaller vans. At the moment, the Sienna is the only all-wheel drive conversions Oasis performs. The company works closely with its customers to ensure that the final product measures up and meets requested specifications.

Full van conversions start at $8,500, which doesn’t include the cost of the van, customized changes or alterations. A full van-to-tiny home conversion does, however, set you up to live quite comfortably on the road. All of Oasis Campervans’ full buildouts include a living room outfitted with several storage boxes; a kitchen with a sink, running water, a spacious countertop a foldup table, shelves , drawers, and in some cases, a drawer with a refrigerator or cooler; stained and finished cabinet; a full-sized memory foam mattress and a chair with fabric selected by the customers; finished flooring, black-out curtains and more.

And in the event that you want to undo the conversion and transform your home on wheels back into a van, each buildout is designed to be removed.

A full buildout can take between two to four weeks, with an approximate delivery time of under six weeks, which is perfect for the tiny home enthusiast whose wanderlust has shifted into overdrive.
