You’ll Be Pine-ing for This Chris-mas Tree

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… for puns. Inspired by The Mindy Project’s iconic Wreath Witherspoon, witty denizens of the internet have come up with their own celebrity inspired Christmas decorations—and they’re just delightful.

Writer and excellent person to follow on Twitter, Dana Schwartz , kicked things off with a Christmas tree decorated with the most festively named of the white Chrises, the Chris Pine Tree. It snowballed (LOL) from there, with people sharing photos of their Matthew McConaughTree‘s and Frasier Crane Firs. This got us thinking about some celebrity-inspired holiday decorations we’d like to see:

• A Scotch Pine that’s just ornaments of famous Scottish people

We’re also very into trees that aren’t necessarily punny but commit to the celebrity theme with gusto, like this Harry Styles tree. If you’re not up to DIYing your celebrity-filled Christmas tree, you can pick up a Beyonce Christmas tree topper and call it a day—bonus points if it’s on a Blue (Ivy) Spruce.
