Gray couches are classic, go with any style, and hide stains easily. But if you ever feel like gray is the only option out there and want something different, you’re in luck. Spotted by the creator behind the Costco Does It Again Instagram account, there’s a brand-new sofa available at Costco that is finally not gray, and commenters are rejoicing. It’s also a super-modern shape that looks like it’s from a high-end brand rather than your favorite warehouse store.

The sofa is called the Mokena sofa, and it’s from Thomasville. It features two hidden storage compartments underneath the seats, which are perfect for storing blankets, board games, or books; a wrap-around solid wood base; loose and reversible back cushions; and comes in this deep sage color in a fabric that looks similar to a velvet or suede.

“Finally they’re moving on from the gray!” one commenter wrote on the Costco Does It Again post, receiving over 70 likes. Another person added, “Just bought this for my new apartment.”

And although it seems like most agree that the lack of gray is a good thing, others aren’t too thrilled about the green. “Is this 1975?” one person asked. Someone else said, “But why this color?”

If the haters must know, this sofa also comes in gray (and it’s actually a really nice warm gray that would work with a lot of different aesthetics). You can pick it up in Costco stores for just under $650 or grab it online for $900, which includes shipping.

So if you’re one of those people who refuses to settle for a gray sofa, then this warm green couch from Costco may be the perfect fit for you. It’s modern, it’s cozy, and it’s definitely not the same old, same old.
