Would you like a way to impress your friends with a smoked brisket while avoiding the early wake-up and hours spent monitoring the grill? Then you’ll definitely want to head over to your local Costco store as they just might have a solution that’ll help you get your smoked meat fix while keeping the smoke out of your eye.

The popular wholesale retailer has supplied the Mission Hill Bistro Smoked Beef Brisket Burnt Ends for quite some time, but thanks to a recent post by Reddit user u/RayTracingOn, the product is receiving a ton of new attention.

“Dude. I got these last week. They are amazing! Next time I’m going to pan fry it THEN throw ‘em in the air fryer for 5 minutes … amazingly delicious,” one shopper commented, while others began to also throw in both their insights and recipes. Suggestions ranged from microwaving to adding it to baked potatoes or on top of mac and cheese. The list kept going, with many redditors agreeing that they were worth the attention they’ve been receiving.

Now smoker enthusiasts might be reluctant to try these pre-smoked and refrigerated burnt ends, as their very existence goes against every practice held near and dear to the smoker community. As one fellow smoker commented though, they’re a good substitute for one of this summer’s hottest menu items. “I thought they were surprisingly good for this sort of thing. I still prefer to smoke my own, but these makes a quick dinner for us really easy and it is quite tasty.” Which is testimony enough to tempt me into giving these burnt ends a try myself.

So if you’re pressed for time but still want to impress your guests with brisket, this are definitely the way to go. The best part? It’s ready in less than five minutes. A win-win if you ask me!
