Costco Is Selling the Most Magical Outdoor Lights That Don’t Require an Outlet
A little ambiance goes a long way when decorating your patio for spring and summer. Good ambient lighting lets you enjoy your backyard well into the evenings. But if you have outdoor space, you might know that installing lighting when you only have one or two outlets is tricky. Extension cords are unsightly and create trip hazards, and it could cost hundreds to call an electrician to install another outlet. The solution? Solar lights — and Costco currently is selling has a set of solar string lights that will light up your entire space, with no outlet necessary.
Costco’s Solar Lights Brighten Any Space — No Outlet Necessary
“Costco has solar string lights, and these are on promo right now,” Laura from Costco Hot Finds said in a recent video. “There’s no need to plug them in, and the hardware is included so you can hang them up almost anywhere. We put the solar panel in the sun and hung the lights along our fence and they stay on from dusk until dawn and look so pretty. They also help light up the yard for the dogs at night. I can’t wait to do the patio next.”
The Artika Blaze solar lights come on a 42-foot cord, and each string has 20 bulbs attached. The cords are easy to attach, so you can lengthen your strand as needed, and the bulbs are replaceable, so you don’t have to ditch the entire string if one bulb goes out.
The lights are under $25 in-store, but you can also grab them on Costco’s website for under $34. Just install the included solar panel in the sunniest spot, and you’ll be able to enjoy these lights for hours every night.
“Purchased these two years ago. They are fabulous,” one Costco shopper wrote. “I have enjoyed many evenings outdoors under those lights. Best part: It has cost nothing to run them. I did install the solar panel so it gets maximum light. And I take them down early winter, as we get a lot of rain and snow.”
Not a Costco member? No problem! You can find similar solar string lights on Amazon, too. These ones from Addlon come with a remote control to turn the lights on and off and set the brightness of the bulbs.
Leave the extension cords in the garage and grab solar string lights for your patio this summer. They’ll add so much charm and ambiance to your space, and you won’t have to worry about power cords (or electricity bills!).
