Parachute linens have been a favorite in these parts for a while: The brand’s classic towels topped our best list, their waffle robe’s beauty-editor approved, and their cloud cotton quilt has become a go-to bedroom staple for many people. So when news broke that Parachute was teaming up with Crate & Barrel to launch a new bedding and bath collection today, I wanted to find out all of the details. Turns out, it’s pretty much all of the super soft, OEKO-TEX certified textiles Parachute is known for but in a brand new oceanfront color palette with four only available at Crate & Barrel shades, including ocean, mist, marine, and pool.

If you’re looking for a spa-like bedroom or bathroom refresh for 2021, then this collection might be right up your alley. Aquas and teals are always great color choices for restful bedrooms or bathrooms, and other brands have identified these shades as trending for this year, too. Truthfully though, you can’t get more classic than the blue family, particularly in bedrooms and bathrooms.

Inspired by Parachute founder Ariel Kaye’s misty morning walks in Venice Beach, the new assortment includes sheets, duvets, blankets, throw pillows, bath towels, and robes, all of which are available in the varying shades of aqua shown above as well some of Parachute’s best-selling white, cream, and gray colorways. “Creating a home that is restorative, functional, and unique has never been more important,” said Kaye in a press release about the collaboration. “This collection of responsibly-sourced, premium quality bedding and bath essentials is a one-stop shop for creating a home sanctuary in the new year.”

Personally, I’m excited that Parachute has brought over their body pillows, which are pictured below. Like long lumbar pillows, these large cushions provide the easiest — and comfiest — way to style out the top of bed. You can also shop from a bedding foundational perspective, too, since Crate will be carrying Parachute’s pillow inserts, comforters, and mattresses as well.

Beginning today, the collection will be available online and in-store only at Crate & Barrel through July 31. Prices start at $19 and top out at $2,199 for mattresses, and I’d keep an eye on sales to see if you can score anything at a discount when different promotions are running (though there may be designer exclusions). Either way, Crate & Barrel is now the only retailer to shop Parachute outside of the brand’s own stores and website, so your local Crate is a great place to get a sense of Parachute’s product (safely) in real life before committing to purchasing anything.
