Think You’re A Disney Fan? Not Nearly As Much As This Homeowner
There are Disney fans, and then there are Disney fans. The owner of this house for sale in Windermere, Florida is the latter, as nearly every room is decked out in magical memorabilia.
A few classic Disney character lawn ornaments hint at what’s inside, but you might not be prepared for the level of fandom this house exhibits. From the foyer to nearly every room, there’s a theme, and tons of corresponding objects, from stuffed animals, to fabric, to murals.
The entryway and immediate entertaining area don’t subscribe to one specific Disney film, though the object that dominates the space is a train set, displayed on a track of Mickey’s head.
Other rooms are more singular in their design—especially the (six!) bathrooms. The seven bedroom home has bathrooms decorated with Tinkerbell, Frozen (heavy on Olaf), Little Mermaid, and Finding Nemo. Despite their cartoon inspiration, the old-timey Mickey bathroom (practically understated in comparison) and the Cheshire Cat themed loo (over the top with its wavy pink striped paint job) could even work in another context.
The property, which clocks in at 4,822 square feet, is on an “expansive corner lot” on the lake, which has a “spectacular magical fireworks view nightly,” as it’s just 12 miles north of the Magic Kingdom, according to the for sale by owner listing. If you’d like to be the king of this particular Disney castle, it’s listed for $888,000.
